Visit from Royal Society Chemistry

Professor Jim Iley Executive Director of Science and Education at the Royal Society of Chemistry visited EffecTech today.

Jim’s visit followed a meeting with EffecTech’s Dr Paul Holland at Loughborough University Chemistry Department’s Research Open day held in April. Jim’s visit was on a fact finding mission to understand how chemistry based SMEs in the UK recruit and train their graduate staff and the areas where new graduates showed weakness or needed additional training. During his visit, Prof Iley met with many of the new graduates working at EffecTech UK.
