Menu EffecTech has now successfully transitioned from ISO 17025:2005 to ISO 17025:2017 after a UKAS audit in October 2019.
In February, EffecTech received official confirmation that, following the UKAS assessment, the company’s accreditation for both calibration and testing have been updated and reissued.
- ISO 17025 for calibration gases, the calibration of process gas analysers and the calibration of direct measurement LNG analysers
- ISO 17025 for testing

The International Organisation for Standards (ISO) revised ISO 17025 in 2017 to account for changes in market conditions and technology. The new version takes into consideration the latest version of ISO 9001 as well as covering technical changes, vocabulary and IT developments. Find out more about the standard on the UKAS website.
